Gay Relationships, Marriages,Dating Services, and Other Bonding Issues
This is a collection of Same Sex Partner related websites that I have collected. If anyone has any corrections, additions, or other updates to add, please feel free to submit them to me. If an individual is included within this set of links, then please do not make any assumptions about their sexuality. Their inclusion is based upon the nature of the list and nothing more. Anyway, may someone else can get some use out of these links. By the way, Gay Marriage is not a special right, it is an equal right. A straight marriage is were two consenting adult human beings of their own free wills joining together to form a family unit with all the benefits and drawbacks therein. There are lots of rules, laws, and taboos against them marrying family members, underage persons, marrying someone against their will (coercion invalidates all contracts) or is incompetent (again, cannot engage in a contract), and even animals (other species are considered non-sentient and are, by definition, incompetent because they cannot understand any legal proceedings including a marriage). A gay marriage is the same thing as a straight marriage bound by the same rules, laws, and taboos. Now, one of the arguments against Gays getting married is that main reason why marriage exists is to produce children. Guess what, people have children outside of wedlock all the time. Also, does that mean all childless couples are not married? Robert and Elizabeth Dole are childless and they are also both divorced from their previous spouses. Should their marriage be dissolved? If they had been devote Catholics, then they could have never married each other in the first place. Of course, the Catholics used to have same sex marriages back in the Dark Ages. So which set of dogmatic religious rules do we follow? Whatever happened to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? Not that the straights are any good at marriage either.
